OMODA | JAECOO will unveil the OMODA 4 for the first time at the Beijing Auto Show 2026.

(Beijing, April 29, 2026). For OMODA | JAECOO, its presence at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show is all about the OMODA 4, which will be unveiled there for the first time. At the same time, the show marks the next phase in the international development of the still-young brand, which, after just three years, is already on the verge of another global milestone. The 2026 Beijing Auto Show will take place from April 24 to May 3 in Beijing and, across approximately 380,000 square meters, will provide the setting for world premieres, strategic decisions, and new impetus from the global automotive industry.

Three years after its launch, OMODA | JAECOO has developed rapidly internationally. The brand is now present in 69 markets and has expanded its global sales network to 1,364 showrooms. Eighteen of these markets, with over 500 showrooms, are located in the EU, with the launch in Austria in November 2025. Since its launch three years ago, the brand has already sold one million vehicles. This makes OMODA | JAECOO the most dynamic and fastest-growing automotive brand internationally. At the same time, the brand reaffirmed its goal of achieving annual sales of one million vehicles for the first time starting in 2027. "The Beijing Auto Show 2026 is an important moment for us," says Lars Pauly, CEO of Colmobil GmbH, the official importer of OMODA | JAECOO in Austria. "It demonstrates the brand's potential and underlines the positive outlook for OMODA | JAECOO in Austria as well. The premiere of the OMODA 4 in Beijing is therefore also an important signal for our market." The OMODA 9 was introduced as the latest addition to the family in March 2026, while the OMODA 4 complements the portfolio with a more compact vehicle. The launch date for Austria is not yet known, nor are the prices.

This dynamic growth is made possible by the industrial and technological strength of the Chery Group. The group is one of China's leading automotive companies, has a strong international presence for many years, and boasts a global research and development network with locations in China, Germany, the USA, and Brazil. As early as 2024, Chery exported more than one million vehicles, and by 2025, annual sales had reached approximately 2.8 million units worldwide. The development of OMODA | JAECOO, a brand created exclusively for export, is also built upon this strong foundation. Three years after its launch, the brand has now surpassed the one million vehicle mark. At the Beijing Auto Show, OMODA | JAECOO was also highlighted as the fastest-growing automotive brand globally and the fastest-expanding automotive brand in Europe. The JAECOO 7 further exemplifies this success: it is now considered the best-selling Chinese vehicle model in Europe.

Europe and Austria as part of the further expansion

This development is particularly evident in Europe. OMODA | JAECOO is already represented in 18 countries there and is offered in more than 500 showrooms. Especially in a regulatory and highly competitive market environment, this gives the brand additional weight. This dynamic is already clearly noticeable in Austria: Colmobil GmbH, the official importer of OMODA | JAECOO based in Vienna, is responsible for the development and organization of the brand and manages sales, service, marketing, and public relations in close cooperation with the retail partner network. This network currently comprises 30 showrooms, and a market share of over one percent was achieved every month of the first quarter of 2026.

The OMODA 4 in detail

With the OMODA 4, OMODA | JAECOO is launching a new entry-level model that reflects the brand's ongoing development at the product level. The vehicle is 4,420 mm long, 1,870 mm wide, and 1,570 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. These proportions are designed to provide a noticeable increase in interior space and a more open feel, despite the vehicle's more compact dimensions. For the Austrian market, the OMODA 4 is planned as both a hybrid and a fully electric version, thus expanding OMODA | JAECOO's future lineup to include two different powertrain options. Standard features include a 13.2-inch touchscreen, 16 ADAS functions, a 540° camera, and 50-watt inductive charging. Furthermore, the OMODA 4 boasts a striking design incorporating "cyber mecha" elements. Inside, it features a futuristic, cockpit-like design that further emphasizes the model's technology-oriented character. This is complemented by digital and everyday usage scenarios, ranging from entertainment features to functions for diverse lifestyle needs. The OMODA 4 thus also underscores OMODA | JAECOO's ambition to further advance its international development with a uniquely positioned, technology-focused model.
