OMODA | JAECOO takes the next step in Austria: JAECOO 5 BEV focuses on fleet customers

(Vienna, May 29, 2026). OMODA | JAECOO is further expanding its presence in Austria and specifically extending its activities in the fleet and vehicle management sector. With the new JAECOO 5 BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) will soon be the brand's first fully electric model in Austria, which should be particularly relevant for businesses.
Following its successful launch in the private customer segment, OMODA | JAECOO is taking the next step in its Austrian market development and is now increasingly targeting businesses, fleet customers, and fleet managers. Battery-electric vehicles are particularly important in the company car segment: they are increasingly becoming part of modern car policies, support sustainability goals, and offer tax advantages in the corporate environment in Austria. "We have already had a successful launch with private customers. Now it's time to reach the next milestone in the fleet sector – and the JAECOO 5 BEV will play a key role in this," says Lars Pauly, CEO of Colmobil GmbH, the official importer of OMODA & JAECOO in Austria. The new JAECOO 5 BEV will be presented for the first time in Austria at two relevant industry events: the Fleet Convention at the Vienna Hofburg and the Raiffeisen Leasing Fleet Days in Teesdorf.
JAECOO 5 BEV as a new offering for company fleets
With the JAECOO 5 BEV, OMODA | JAECOO expands its future product range with a fully electric SUV that offers attractive applications for both private and corporate customers. Features include a system output of 210 hp and a trunk capacity of 384 to 1284 liters. With a 61 kWh battery and a maximum charging capacity (DC fast charging) of 130 kW, the model is perfectly suited for everyday use and provides a solution for diverse mobility needs in company fleets.
Fleet Convention and Raiffeisen-Leasing Fleet Days as important platforms
OMODA | JAECOO's first-time participation in the Fleet Convention on June 9, 2026, at the Vienna Hofburg, as well as in the Raiffeisen-Leasing Fleet Days on June 10 and 11, 2026, at the ÖAMTC Driving Technology Center in Teesdorf, offers the opportunity to present the JAECOO 5 directly in a relevant B2B environment. The Fleet Convention focuses on topics such as CO₂ reporting, data and facts about the fleet market, and fleet management in transition. The Raiffeisen-Leasing Fleet Days are aimed at individuals who manage fleets and make decisions, offering insights into trends in mobility, electromobility, and fleet management. In addition to panel discussions and expert presentations, the event will feature more than 100 current vehicle models and test drives, allowing participants to experience the JAECOO 5 BEV in the context of specific fleet and application scenarios.
