New car brands OMODA | JAECOO now available in Austria

(Vienna, November 5, 2025). Yesterday evening, November 4, 2025, two new car brands, OMODA and JAECOO, celebrated their launch in Austria at the MuseumsQuartier in Vienna. They are now available from Austrian dealers, with prices starting at €26,490 for the OMODA 5 HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle).
Colmobil Automotive brings OMODA | JAECOO to Austria
With a celebratory event at Vienna's MuseumsQuartier on November 4, 2025, the new importer Colmobil Automotive marked the official market launch of the two car brands OMODA | JAECOO in Austria. New importer based in Vienna with a growing dealer network
Chinese automaker Chery Automobile has secured Colmobil Automotive as its new general importer for Austria. The Vienna-based company already boasts a sales and service network with a total of 17 dealerships across Austria. "We have successfully completed the first phase of our dealer selection process, securing strong partners in key cities and regions. The strong interest from Austrian dealers confirms our concept, and we are already in advanced discussions with other interested parties. Our goal is to continuously expand our dealer network with committed partners who are deeply rooted in their regions. Naturally, we always keep our customers in mind, offering them a wide range of locations," explains Lars Pauly, CEO of Colmobil Automotive. Models, prices and market launch in Austria
For its domestic launch, Colmobil Automotive presented the OMODA 5 HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) in Comfort and Premium trim levels, the JAECOO 7 PHEV SHS (plug-in hybrid with Super Hybrid System) in Comfort and Premium trim levels, and the JAECOO 7 AWD in Premium trim at the MuseumsQuartier. The OMODA 5's 1.5 TGDI hybrid engine produces up to 224 hp of system output, making it one of the most powerful models in its class. The JAECOO 7 PHEV SHS is particularly distinguished by its outstanding range of 1,200 kilometers, achieved through the efficient interplay of the combustion engine and electric motor with the specially developed Super Hybrid System (SHS). Prices for the Austrian market start at €26,490 for the OMODA 5 HEV.
