GAC car brand expands its dealer network in Austria: two new locations in Upper Austria
(Vienna/Upper Austria, 30. September 2026). GAC continues to expand its Austrian car dealer network. Two new locations has been added: Autohaus Büchl Ried and Autohaus Büchl Schärding. This increases the GAC network in Austria from three to five branches and makes it also been for the first time represented in Upper Austria. Both dealership companies are now starting sales and service for the first GAC models AION V and AION UT.
With Autohaus Büchl, GAC gains a new partner that will distribute the brand at two locations in Upper Austria. All the currently offered in Austria GAC models, which are the all-electric SUV AION V and the more compact AION UT, are available at the Autohaus Büchl Ried car dealership (Hannesgrub-Nord 20/1, 4911 Tumeltsham) and the Autohaus Büchl Schärding car dealership (St. Florian am Inn 35, 4782 St. Florian am Inn). The cars are now available to order: AION UT from 26.990 euros and AION V from 35.990 euros. In addition to sales, the companies also take over repair station and services for GAC. Together with the dealerships Auto Hänfling in St. Pölten, Weintritt GesmbH in Baden, and Autohaus Zezula in Wiener Neustadt, the brand currently has five locations in Austria. The production brings an additional Austrian connection: the AION V and AION UT models, intended for the European market, are finalized at Magna Steyr in Graz.
GAC car dealer network continues growing
The expansion of the sales and service network will continue gradually in the coming months. „With the two Büchl locations, we already have five branches after only two months on the market. Our goal is to have twelve partner companies by the end of the year.“ says Thomas Forsthuber, Network Planning Colmobil GmbH. „What is crucial for us is to get not only the number of locations, but also strong partners who are well anchored regionally. The five companies are a good basis for further expansion of the brand in Austria.“ Starting in mid-October, Autohaus Büchl Ried and Autohaus Büchl Schärding will expand their offerings to include OMODA & JAECOO as well. This brand, also imported in Austria by Colmobil GmbH, will be represented at both locations with its current model portfolio.
